This weekend I received “the call” from my mother-in-law. The chemotherapy has started taking its toll and her hair has begun to fall out. So, being the wonderful daughter-in-law that I am, I quickly crocheted a cap to keep her noggin comfy and warm.

Sometimes I’m surprised at how, er, “non-intelligent” (OK, STUPID.) some people can be. For instance, I met an aspiring law student last night that asked me the following:
Law dork: “So you work with rodents, right?”
Me: “Yes.”
Law dork: “Like what?”
Me: “Predominantly mice, and occasionally rats.”
